Android photos on TV

Compare Google Photos casting with sending selected Android photos to an online TV browser.

  1. Look for a compatible Cast receiver

    Open Google Photos and look for its Cast control. Select the intended TV or streaming device on the compatible network and show the chosen photo or album.

  2. Use the browser on a different network

    If the receiver is unavailable, open V U This on the display and pair the Android phone. Choose Photos and select the images the room should see. Both devices need internet, even when one uses mobile data.

  3. Have a local option for poor Wi-Fi

    Check whether the display can read your photos from a USB drive. Test a few representative images first, including any that came from a different camera or app.
