iPhone photos on TV

Show photos from an iPhone on a compatible TV with AirPlay or a separate browser.

  1. Try AirPlay if the TV supports it

    Connect the iPhone and compatible receiver as Apple specifies. In Photos, choose a picture and use the sharing or AirPlay controls to pick the display. Confirm the room sees the chosen photo.

  2. Use a display browser if the room is unfamiliar

    Open V U This in the TV browser or on an attached computer. Scan the display code from your iPhone, choose Photos and select the images to show. Check the first image before advancing.

  3. Check the frame

    Fit keeps the edges of a portrait image visible, often with side space on a wide display. Fill is useful for a wide landscape if cropping the edges is acceptable.
